Baker's DICTIONARY OF CHRISTIAN ETHICS Page 4

Without absolutes, any ethic ultimately slips into some form of subjectivism.

God is the Christian's ultimate authority.
His will therefore is absolute.
God has spoken.
The Bible as the written Word of God carries the categorical authority.

Evangelical Dictionary of Theology
Elwell pg.1114 G.H. Clark Ph.D., University of Pennsylvania.

One should also bear in mind that moral and spiritual truth is as much truth as mathematical, scientific, and historical truth. It is all equally "intellectual." Nonintellectual truth is unthinkable. It is not true that the common conception of truth as a fact or what is real "has no moral or spiritual significance." We need only to recall that God gave the Ten Commandments.

God tells the truth; he tells what is so his assertions are correct.
