Many Christians will not even talk about the subject of Satan,
Demons, or possession because of fear.
That's like being at war, and being afraid to know where the enemies lines are, how many are in the army, what kind of equipment they have, or where the enemy is about to attack.

In the early centuries of the church, a convert to Christianity could not take Holy Communion, but was expected to attend Sunday worship and to receive instruction before being baptized usually at Easter.
This period of preparation lasted anywhere from one to three years and ended with rigorous examination and discipline during Lent. The latter included being exorcised, fasting, and an all-night vigil before Easter Sunday.

Justin Martyr records that the exorcism of demon-possessed individuals continued to be an active ministry of the post-apostolic church. The rite of exorcism took on a variety of forms such as prayer, fasting, laying on of hands, burning of roots, or the sprinkling of holy water. However, one crucial element to a successful exorcism was the invocation of the name of Jesus Christ (Second Apology 6).
Tertullian also witnesses to the power of Christ's name when invoked against a demon. When properly adjured, the demon would tell the truth about himself, and was made to obey the word of the exorcist (Apology 23).

Ephesians 6:12

The problem many have,
is a result of drawing lines of separation between
the saved and the unsaved, that were never intended to be drawn.
A Christian, who is out of fellowship with God,
can fall into sin just as any demon possessed person can.
(1 Corinthians 5:1-5) 1 ¶ It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
Does it make sense that a Christian could live a life of
unrepented sin and not have problems with demons?
"Infiltration"
Infiltration is when an evil spirit or spirits enters
a persons body with the intent to control that person.
Who can be infiltrated?
Answer: Humans.
Can a Christian be infiltrated?
Answer: A Christian is human.
It's important to realize that there are many people
who think they are Christians when in fact they are not.
It would be wrong to give these people the impression

Senses dwells in the body.
Flesh or Shell
Self dwells in the soul.
Mind, Emotion, Will
God dwells in our spirit. (He has sealed us) Ephesians 1:13
He communicates with us through our conscience,
and intuition.
A demon or demons cannot dwell in a saved person's spirit,
because that is where God the Holy Spirit dwells.
The real us is sealed their in Him.
There is a battle going on,
the Holy Spirit wants to control your whole spirit, soul, body.
(But He won t violate your will.)
The will is man's ability to choose.
You are what you choose to be,
A spiritual Christian or a fleshly Christian.

Demons know they cannot
enter the Christians Holy of Holies.
The dwelling place of God the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 3:16
Do you not know that you are a temple of God,
and that the Spirit of God dwells in you.
Remember the temple had three parts.
Outer Court ... Inner Court ... Holy Place
(BODY) ...... (SOUL) .... (SPIRIT)

Unrepentant sin gives demons permission to do their work in us.
We then are grieving and quenching the Holy Spirit,
when we give in to their temptations.
(And not repenting 1 John 1:9)
They then have the right to come and dwell within our soul, or body.
The demon's goal is to totally control
our soul, and body by influencing our will.
Demons use many different methods in this process.
The main method we should all be aware of is,
demon's attempt
to make people think demons are who we are.
Demons can go undetected and can do whatever they want to do Short of taking our salvation away, as long as we do not repent.
Victory is achieved when we believe what the Bible says,
about who we are in Christ.
We must be honest with ourselves and God and be willing to repent.
Only with this attitude can we see the deception and be willing to change.
When a person believes in Jesus Christ,
his nature is supernatural changed
and his eternal destiny is determined forever,
as a result of the work of Christ.
He at that moment is indwelt by the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:9
We have Wisdom, Righteousness, Sanctification,
and Redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30).
We are members of a chosen race (1 Peter 2:9).
We are Ordained into royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9).
We are members of a Holy nation (1 Peter 2:9).
We are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19).
We are Saints (1 Corinthians 1:2).
We are Washed, Sanctified, Justified (1 Corinthians 6:11).
We Have been Glorified (Romans 8:30). Note: passed tense
We have been seated in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).
Our Citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20).
We are ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).

Submit therefore to God.
Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
Total Commitment!
Satan's trick is in applying the misapplication of a truth.
These tricks have been used time after time to destroy a truth.
Christian leaders will usually take the easy way out
by doing away with the whole truth, rather than to correct
the devil's mis-application of a truth.
SOME WILL SAY THIS CAN'T BE!
How can Good and Evil dwell in the same place?
Remember, no demon can dwell in our
spirit because that is where God is.
We might ask the question?
How did the serpent get in the garden?
Was everything in the garden good?
Was the serpent evil?

Is the evil Paul is talking about, really evil?
How can it dwell within Paul?
If evil and good cannot dwell together.....
Is it less evil than a demon?

more or less evil
than the evil
he speaks of within him in Romans 7:21?

It appears there were quite a few demons around in New Testament times.
Where did they all go?
Could they still be here?
Have they tricked us so we think they are not around, when they are?
We know God is Holy
and God is more powerful than
Satan but they do appear to operate
at times within the same area.
The Garden. Genesis 3:1
The World. Matthew 4:1-11
Outer Space. Ephesians 2:2
The very presence of the Lord. Job 2:1
We know that messengers of Satan can penetrate the outer skin of humans to gain entry from numbers of examples in the Bible.
No one should deny the abilities of messengers of Satan to bombard the Christian with all kinds of evil, perverted thoughts.
Somehow these evil messengers are able to get through our outer skin, into our minds, with the intent to control us in a direction opposing God's standard.
This subject requires a great deal of wisdom.
The demons plan, when they are discovered
is to get everything out of balance.
The Christian should use caution, how he communicates with others.
A big mistake is made
when a Christian ventures out to rid the world of demons with his new knowledge, Or, begins looking for a demon in every person he comes in contact with.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Spiritual infiltration it is a result of sin.
Sin can give the right for demonic infiltration.
Confession of sin takes their rights away.
Deliverance often only occur
as a result of prayer, fasting, confession of sin
and the Power of the name of Jesus Christ.
Once demons are within a person they will not want to leave.
If you take the demonic rights away
by confession of sin
and use the Power of the name of Jesus,
demons have to leave.
James 4:7
Submit therefore to God.
Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
When talking to demons,
speak by faith with the understanding
that even though you cannot see them,
demons are there.
If demons drop in some night to torment you
and if you have the Bible on tape
, turn the tape on.
Tell them they came at the right time to hear the Word of God.
