You see the Law is a covenant deal.

Hebrews 8:6-7
But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry,
by as much as He is also the mediator of a better covenant,
which has been enacted on better promises.

Heb 9:15
15 ¶ And for this reason
He is the mediator of a
new covenant,
in order that since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed
under the first covenant,
those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Hebrews 9:16
16). For where a covenant is there must of necessity
be the death of the one who made it.

When He said, "A new covenant,"
He has made the first obsolete.
But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.

Galatians 4:30
Cast out the bondwoman and her son;
for the son of the bondwoman
shall not be heir with the son of the free woman.

This is one of the most devastating parts of the bible, when realized what it is saying. Its describes people that think they are Christians, they carry Bibles and are faithful Church attendees, but follow a system of merit, the law or works, to secure their right standing before God, and are of the bondwomen.
(cast out the bondwoman)
The followers of bondwoman are not saved.

Ephesians 2:15
15). by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, that in Himself He might make the two into one new man thus establishing peace

The same Greek word for Law
is used in Eph 2:15 and Matt 5:18.

The same Greek word for commandments
is used in Eph 2:15 and Luke 18:20

Since the same Greek words are used in both Scriptures,
their can be no misunderstanding to what Law and Commandments have be abolished...ALL. ALL.ALL.

Romans 13:10
Love does no wrong to a neighbor;
love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

Matt. 5:17-18
Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish,
but to fulfill.
18). For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the Law,
"until" all is accomplished.

The above verse is often misread, therefore, misunderstood. The verse is saying all the Law will be in effect
until
He accomplished His purpose, and His purpose is to fulfill the Law, while establishing a new covenant.

It is not saying heaven and earth will pass away before the law passes away.

John 19:28
After this, Jesus, knowing that all things had already been
accomplished,
in order that the
Scripture might be fulfilled,
said, I am "thirsty." 30). When Jesus therefore had received the sour wine, He said,
"It is finished!"
And bowed His head, and gave up His Spirit.

Galatians 3:17
"What I am saying is this: the Law,
which came four hundred and thirty years later,
does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God,
so as to nullify the promise.
19). Why the Law then?
It was added because of transgressions,
having been ordained through angels by the agency of a mediator,
until the seed should come
to whom the promise had been made."

1 Pet 1:23
having been begotten again,
not of corruptible seed,
but of incorruptible,

Jesus is the seed
which is the fulfillment of the Law.

Gal 3:12
However, the Law is not of faith;
on the contrary,
"HE WHO PRACTICES THEM SHALL LIVE BY THEM."

We have the incorruptible seed,
Christ living in us, and is a part of us,
never to be separated from us.

Jesus lived under the Laws and Commandments of the
Old Covenant. It is important to realize this fact in
rightly dividing His Words. Jesus taught the disciples how
unobtainable it was to gain God's favor by human efforts.
That's why in Matthew 19:25, His disciples said:
"Then who can be saved?"

As the result of the Promise the
new covenant, all can be saved by
Gods grace through faith in Christ.

THE JEWS HATED THE GENTILES !

THE GENTILES HATED THE JEWS !

GOD WANTED THEM T0 BE ONE !

Rather than placing the Gentiles under the Mosaic Law He abolished it and placed them both under his Royal Law of Love.

James 2:8
If ye fulfill the royal law according to the scripture,
Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well;

MATT 22:36
"Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?"
37). And He said to him, "YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.
38). This is the greatest and foremost commandment. 39). And a second is like it, YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."

John 14:15
"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."

John 14:21
"He who has My commandments, and keeps them, he it is who loves Me;"...

John 15:10
"If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments, and abide in His love."

NOTE: We see that Jesus makes a clear distinction
between His commandments,
that we are to follow, and His Father's commandments,
which Jesus kept.

John 15:12
"This is My commandment,
that you love one another, just as I have loved you.

Note:
In the books of 1 and 2 John the commandments
spoken of, are Jesus' commandments,
given in John 15:12 and 1 John 3:23,
not the Mt. Sinai commandments.

John 15:12
This is my commandment,
That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

1 John 3:23
And this is His commandment,
that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ,
and love one another, just as He commanded us.

1 John 3:22
And whatever we ask we receive from Him,
because we keep His commandments and
do the things that are pleasing in His sight.

that the one who loves God should love his brother also.

Since the Scriptures have been fulfilled, and all has been accomplished, and it is finished, and the Law and the Commandments have been abolished. Eph 2:15

We who are in Christ are under a new Law
written in our hearts
the commandments of Love.

We should motivate people
to enter into the freeness of the Spirit,
rather than to be slaves
to the obsolete covenant.

It is wrong to say the Christian is bound by the Law,

Ceremonial, Moral,
Torah,
Laws of Holiness,
Levitical Ritual's,
Laws of Punishments, etc.

2 Corinthians 3:3
being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone, but on tablets of human hearts.
6). who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
15). But to this day when ever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart;
16). But whenever a man turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
17). Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Every one who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is Lawlessness. NASV

1 John 3:4
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law; for sin is the transgression of the law. KJV

Many people think the word "Law" in the KJV
1 John 3:4 is a reference to the Mt. Sinai Commandments.

(WHICH JUSTIFIES THEM, PLACING THEMSELVES, UNDER THE LAW.)

The problem with this view is the Greek word used for Law is

strong's #458 .

The same word
Strong's #458 is translated
12 different times as iniquity,
out of the 15 times the word is used in the New Testament.

is translated two times as law, and one time as unrightouness,

If they had been consistent in the translation,
1 JOHN 3:4 would have been translated iniquity.

INIQUITY

ANOMIA (),
lit., lawlessness (a, negative, nomos, law), is used in a way which indicates the meaning as being lawlessness or wickedness.
Its usual rendering in the N.T. is "iniquity",
which lit. means unrighteousness.

So we can see the NASV,
of 1 John 3:4 is most correct.

1 John 3:4
Every one who practices sin also practices Lawlessness;
and sin is Lawlessness. NASV

My Suggestion for translation...
1 John 3:4
Every one who practices sin also practices "INIQUITY;
and sin is INIQUITY.

Galatians 3:10
For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse;
for it is written "CURSED IS EVERY ONE WHO DOES NOT
ABIDE BY ALL THINGS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW,

Which no one has ever done,
which testifies to our need for a savior.

John 7:19
"Did not Moses give you the law,
and yet none of you carries out the law?"...

James 2:10
"For whoever keeps the whole law and yet
stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all."

JESUS SAID:

How about you that want to be perfect by the keeping of the Law why not go all the way of completeness, and get your treasure in Heaven.

"If you wish to be complete,
go and sell your possessions and give to the poor."

I guess this separates the talkers from the walkers.

Matt 5:20
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Matt 5:27
Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

There are moral Principles
that are in accord with the Nature of God.

It should be pointed out the moral principles
existed before the Old Covenant.

Romans 1:19
because that which is know about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.

We as Christians are not bound to the external laws
written in stone and ink, but the internal laws,
written by the Spirit, on our hearts.
Just because they happen to be the same,

the right to lead people back into the old covenant,
